NC state kicked out of CWS

As a player and fan of baseball my whole life I’m disappointed. Disappointed in the fact that the players on the NC state baseball team will more than likely never get this opportunity again and would’ve been the highlight of their baseball career (as a player a dream of mine is to be able to play in Omaha for a shot at the CWS title). Yes some of the players will go on to get drafted. They all have amazing talent but for them to have this stripped away hurts me and every other true sports fan not just baseball fans, they put up a great fight against Vanderbilt with only 13 guys and do I think they had a shot at at winning not just the series against vandy but also to win the CWS and for the NCAA to do this and take the dream they’ve all had for as long as they can remember is an embarrassment to the sports world. And to put politics aside I believe it shouldn’t matter whether you’re vaccinated or not that’s for the players to decide not the NCAA and for them to practically say I don’t care how you feel or what you it’s not your decision. While they’re packing stadiums and not making people wear masks I don’t think health concerns to this measure should be up to them.
